To get started:

  • Add your courses under Data / Courses
  • Import statistics from GIT
  • Add your company under Data / Company
  • Import SIE4 files from your accounting system for profit and loss reporting
  • Import IE3-filer for budget
  • Set up revenue and cost groups under Data
  • Create member categories under Data

Data/ Courses

Before importing, you need to set up your course(s) under Data/Course.
To include statistics from previous years, files must be exported from GIT and then imported into Business Board.

-One file per year for each year you want statistics for (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019).

-One file per course, if you have multiple courses.

The files are exported from GIT via:

Reports / Statistics Reports / Other Statistics – GIT_Stat.Booked Tee Times Accumulated.Excel.rpx

Generate the report and export it in Text Format (TXT), and change the TextDelimiter setting from a dot . to a semicolon ;.

Playing Capacity

Under Settings > Slot Rows and X-Factor, you specify how many slot rows your club has per month, and whether you have an X-Factor, i.e., play outside the standard tee-time bookings such as walk-on rounds or other types of spontaneous golf that are not included in your tee-time schedule.

Finance / Accounting

You will need SIE 4 files from the accounting system (for the years you want) and SIE 3 files for the budget (for the current year).

These files are exported from your accounting software under Export.

One SIE 4 file per year (e.g., 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019) from both the club and, if applicable, the company.

One SIE 3 file for the current year from both the club and, if applicable, the company.

Revenue-/ Cost Groups

All accounts need to be linked to revenue and cost groups. This is done under Data. You likely already have a good way of grouping accounts for costs and revenues, which you can use as a basis when setting up the same structure in Business Board.

Profit Centers / Cost Centers

Your profit centers are imported automatically; no linking or manual settings are required. However, if you are using Premium +, you need to specify which Profit Centers / Cost Centers should be included for the Club and, if applicable, the Company when creating a budget. This is done under Settings / Profit Centers.

Link Accounts

Once the Revenue and Cost Groups are set up, all accounts need to be linked to them. If you have both a company and an association, you need to link the accounts for both entities.

Membership Types

If you have subscribed to Premium, our Membership Calculator is included, allowing you to link multiple membership types to a category. This is done under Data / Member Categories.
